This is my fav time of year! The holiday season always brings me so much joy. Now that Halloween is here pumpkin picking, carving, and roasting seeds is in full swing and I am ready. I am a pumpkin seed addict and I must get several pumpkins a year to roast its seeds, and of course have fun carving them with our kids.
Last year was the first year I decided to try some other pumpkin seed recipes instead of just the the traditional #oldskool recipe I’ve been using and eating since I can remember! I love trying new things and although my husband hates it it’s just too damn bad and he must participate. Luckily this year I decided to go with the original salted pumpkin seeds and ranch flavored which are delicious and flavorful!
Here are the recipes I use for ranch and original. It’s very simple and I usually just do it by eye instead of measuring. It’s kinda hard to mess up! Or at least I think it is 😊 There’s tons of seasonings you can use from garlic to ranch to BBQ to chili powder! Either way they are delicious and good for you!
Original Pumpkin seeds
2 cups of pumpkin seeds
1tbs of olive oil/butter
1/2tsp of kosher salt/salt
Ranch Pumpkin seeds
2 cups of Pumkin seeds
1tbs olive oil
1tsp ranch dried seasoning-sprinkle some more while cooking (optional)
salt to taste
Once they are seasoned just throw them in a pan with some tin foil and pop it in the oven!
I have seen a lot of different recipes, instructions and temp suggestions to use when you look online. I say just go with your gut. I’ve made mine from anywhere to 300-375 degrees. The key is to watch them and take them out when they start to brown!
Good luck pumkin 🎃 seed eating and Happy Halloween 👻
I would really love to meet this amazing woman. Maybe even sit down and share a glass of red wine! Who doesn’t want to be like this woman when they’re 105 years old?
Eileen Ash, who lives in Norwich spends her days doing yoga and driving around in her signature yellow Mini car. she is my type of granny!
Kudos to this woman I saw on the news this morning talking about maybe when she’s old she’ll have aches and pains because in her eyes, what is old?
I have tons and tons of cored pencils, gel pens, watercolor pens, and so much more and they can begin to get cluttered and everywhere! I usually try to keep them inside the cases they come in but some don’t come in cases and others come in cases that fall apart before you take them out the box so to alleviate all that I have found a great case that works well. I’m somewhat OCD so I like having a place for everything.
First off it’s pink, I’m a girl and I love pink! It’s also a lot smaller and compact then I anticipated which is great. In the picture it looks much bigger but is around the same size as an iPad mini, maybe smaller. I actually like that it’s smaller so it’s fits inside things easier. I also have 2 kids and this is perfect to take with you traveling and keeps things organized.
This case opens like a book with each compartment having a separate zipper. I like that I can separate the different kinds of art supplies I’m using by page. It works like a book minus the zippers. Each zipper opens up and inside there are little elastic bands on each sides of the pages where you slide the pencils in and out. The elastic holds them tight and keeps them from falling out! The zipper also keeps them all inside!
The case will hold 72 pencils and comes in hot pink, light pink, and blue. It also has spots for things like erasers and pencil sharpeners. It’s great for artists, students and as a gift. The case has a small handle strap to make it easy to carry! I think I may even like it better then those pencil wraps. It’s cool though and it works well and I like better then having different types of pens, pencils, and markers everywhere. I’ll probably need 2 since my girls fight over everything, lol. I would definitely recommend it! Makes life easier.

This bloody bath mat came to me at the perfect time of the year, Halloween! Who doesn’t love to place all those creepy decorations around their house and scare the crap out their friends and family? The bloody mat is fun to look at and have around the house and is a great bathroom decoration for Halloween! Who really decorates their bathroom anyways?
This was perfect for our bathroom though whoch is small. The mat is on the smaller size also so it’s great for in front of the vanity, sink, or shower. It comes with the bloody footprints and spray just so your not surprised like me, lol. If your a fool like me you would’ve thought the picture depict the mat turning red when stepping out the bath or shower with wet feet, like it was activated by the water which would’ve been awesome! Well, I learned the hard way that is not the case and it is just a white mat with bloody footprints.
It’s very soft but somewhat thin. I’m not sure if I plan on using it all year or if it will be a seasonal thing. I guess we’ll just gave to see how well it holds up over time! Overall, I am happy with it and enjoy playing around with it and my kids. You can also use them wherever you want and not just in your bathroom. They do have a non slip bottom! I received this product free and was under no obligation to share my experience.

I wish I knew about these things along time ago, like when I smoked! I don’t smoke anymore but my husband enjoys it which I now hate but I still like to make sure he’s happy and knew this was perfect. This lighter is quite a show piece and your bound to have people asking questions when you pull this out. Great conversation piece too.
I don’t know about other smokers but my husband can’t keep a lighter on him for anything. He is always losing them left and right. I mean, it happens 5 minutes after he purchases one and he hasn’t even left the store yet, how is that possible? This lighter is made of Zinc alloy and is super wind resistant. There isn’t a flame but more like how a car lighter worked! You can still burn yourself though!
This amazing lighter is rechargeable! Yea, you heard me correctly, you plug this bad boy into a USB plug and into the wall and it charges it right up. It hangs on my husbands Keychain which happens to be the one thing my husband manages not to lose. It’s heavy duty and actually quite heavy too. It has 2 heavy duty key circles attached to the bottom and the top has a push button clasp to open and close yet another heavy duty latch.
The lighter has a button you push down easily and signals the lighter to heat up and turn on. That button is used as a cover for the small circular lighter to keep it closed and protected and I like that it has a cover to keep accidents at bay. This is a cool product and a must have for a smoker. You’ll never need to buy another butane lighter again. It comes in a cute little metal case with the charger and it charges up fast and lasts long. Xmas is coming up and this would make a great gift or stocking stuffer. What smoker doesn’t want an everlasting lighter they never have to buy again or look for? I received this product at a discounted price, I was in no way obligated to review this product.
